We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee electrical construction projects from start to finish. The successful candidate will manage the electrical team, ensure compliance with safety standards, and coordinate with other trades to deliver high-quality electrical systems for various commercial and industrial projects. Key Responsibilities
Supervise and direct electrical construction projects, ensuring timely completion within budget.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
Review and interpret electrical drawings and specifications to ensure adherence to project requirements.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.
Manage a team of electricians and subcontractors, providing guidance and support as needed.
Track project progress and report on milestones, delays, and issues that may arise.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant standards.
Assist with resolving electrical issues and provide technical support to the team during construction.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Electrical Superintendent in commercial and industrial construction.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards, especially NEC.
Experience in managing diverse projects such as retail, municipal, healthcare, educational, and hospitality.
Possession of a Master Electrician or Journeyman Electrician license is preferred.
Familiarity with MEP systems and public works projects is a plus.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail. Benefits Profit sharing/project completion bonus.
