CommercialConstruction Project Manager Job Description:

A Project Manager(PM) develops, coordinates, implements, and manages all facetsnecessary to construct the project on time, within budget, and tothe quality specified. The PM provides leadership and serves as theliaison between project team members to promote the interest ofboth the business and clients in all matters, as well asdemonstrate the characteristics of a mid-level leader. The PM isthe primary leader for the construction project. ResponsibilitiesMaintain adherence to HITT’s standards of safety; ensuring thatrequired documentation is filed Create and manage project budgetfor all assigned projects Develop and collaborate onpre-construction RFP package Conduct project meetings, whilesetting milestones and formulating monthly owner reports Establishjob processes (RFIs, submittals, and pay applications) includingapproving pay applications and negotiating subcontract changeorders Perform project scheduling; ensure project quality controland establish overall project logistics Manage the closeout processefficiently Contact new and existing customers to discuss theirneeds while explaining how these needs could be met by specificcompany services Supervise assistant operations support roles suchas assistant project manager, administrative assistant, MEPmanagers, safety team members, etc. Collaborate with the projectsuperintendent and site operations team throughout the life of theproject Qualifications High school diploma required, four-yeardegree from an accredited university with a concentration inconstruction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred Inlieu of a degree, additional work experience is acceptable 5 years’experience in commercial construction, including experience with acommercial general contractor Previous experience in a projectmanagement role with the ability to execute multiple projectsand/or simultaneously Ability to master sector/project-specificsoftware systems including but not limited to: Microsoft Officesuite (ex.
