Commercial Superintendent:

As the Superintendent, you’ll be the on-site leader, managing all construction activities from groundbreaking through final punch list on $8M+ commercial projects across South Carolina. You’ll work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and trades to ensure safety, quality, budget, and schedule compliance.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all field and subcontractor activity from mobilization to close-out Maintain job site organization, safety, and productivity Ensure projects meet plans, specs, and change directives Coordinate materials, inspections, and equipment deliveries Maintain and enforce compliance with safety standards (including stormwater and environmental) Conduct weekly progress meetings and maintain daily logs and safety reports Partner with PM on budget control, scope review, and logistics planning Lead short-interval scheduling and solve field challenges proactively Review submittals and quality of installation by all trades Build and maintain positive relationships with owners, architects, suppliers, and team members Manage site cleanliness, layout, and workflow Travel to project sites throughout SC (travel primarily in-state)

What You Bring:

5+ years as a Commercial Superintendent with ground-up experience Project experience of $8 million+ required Strong skills in scheduling, ordering, supervision, safety, and QC Experience with a variety of commercial building types (K-12, higher ed, hospitality, etc.) Proven ability to lead multiple teams and maintain timelines and budgets Ability to read and understand plans, contracts, and scopes of work Proficiency in construction technology, reporting tools, and job site documentation

OSHA 10/30
