Job DescriptionJob Description PURPOSE:
Join our dynamic team as a Construction Site Project Manager to oversee critical operations at a state-of-the-art automotive bodyshop. This role requires strong project management skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to ensure seamless collaboration between construction teams, contractors, integrators, and Bodyshop Planning. RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) between plant construction, integrators, contractors, Scout Safety, and Bodyshop Planning teams. Coordinate supplier progress and provide detailed feedback to Planning leadership. Conduct daily status meetings to discuss challenges and implement corrective measures. Monitor project risks, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. Manage project timelines, shipment schedules, space requirements, onsite waste, and traffic management. Track safety-related KPIs and ensure compliance with local, state, and safety standards. Provide leadership and guidance to integrators and contractors, fostering a collaborative work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2-3 years of experience in project management, engineering, or related fields. Bodyshop experience and knowledge of production/factory planning.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Strong project management expertise with proven ability to meet deadlines and handle challenges. Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards. Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
