The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. This role requires effective management of on-site activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Site Superintendent will serve as the primary point of contact between the project team, subcontractors, and clients. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Manage project schedules and coordinate with various teams to ensure timely completion of tasks. Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements. Proficiency in construction management software, including Microsoft Office Suite, Project, PDF / Bluebeam and ProCore, for tracking project progress and documentation. Oversee subcontractors and laborers, providing guidance and support to ensure quality workmanship. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise. Assist in construction estimating by providing insights on labor needs, material costs, and timelines. Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs, change orders, and incident reports. Experience Proven experience (5+ years) in a supervisory role within the multi-family construction industry is essential. Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices is required. Familiarity with construction estimating techniques and tools is an asset. Proficiency in blueprint reading is necessary for effective project oversight. Experience with construction management software such as ProCore is preferred. OSHA 30 training Excellent communication skills are essential for liaising with team members, clients, and subcontractors.
