Description My client is seeking anexperienced Superintendent with a background in multifamily,mixed-use, and/or senior living construction to lead projects inthe Northern Virginia/D.C. area. This role involves overseeingfield operations, maintaining safety standards, managing schedules,and ensuring quality across every phase of construction. Lead allon-site construction activities from preconstruction throughproject completion Oversee day-to-day field operations, includingscheduling, coordination, safety enforcement, and quality controlSupervise, manage, and mentor subcontractors, foremen, and fieldstaff to ensure productivity and accountability Develop andmaintain short-interval schedules and look-ahead plans incoordination with the master project schedule Collaborate withproject management team on RFIs, submittals, inspections, andmaterial procurement Conduct regular safety meetings, ensurecompliance with OSHA and company safety standards, and enforce aclean, hazard-free site Review and interpret constructiondocuments, drawings, and specifications Perform daily site walks toassess work progress, quality, and adherence to scope Maintaindaily field reports and documentation through Procore or otherplatforms Coordinate and lead subcontractor progress meetings andtrade coordination efforts Profile 5-10 years of constructionsupervision experience Proven experience with multifamily,mixed-use, or senior living projects ($20M-$150M range) Backgroundin general contracting or builder-developer environments Strongleadership, organization, and communication skills
Tech-savvy:
proficient in MS Office , MS Project , Procore , and otherconstruction management platforms OSHA-30 certified Strong tenureand growth trajectory in previous roles Bachelor’s degree preferredbut not required
