Position Overview:
As a Project Manager,you’ll play a crucial role in our project management team. Yourexpertise will help us deliver successful projects on time andwithin budget. You will manage a field Superintendent, a Projectmanagers assistant, installation crews and several projects.
Candidates must demonstrate prior experience in the constructionindustry. What you will need to bring to the table: Must have atleast 5+ years of experience in a similar role. Must have a validdriver’s license and reliable transportation. Proficiency inhandling and submitting construction submittals is essential.
Experienced in reviewing architectural plans, RFIs and ASIs onconstruction plans to identify and address necessary modification.
Skilled in drafting and processing change orders. Ability toidentify product alternatives that optimize cost withoutcompromising quality. Brings experience from working alongsideGeneral Contractors. Prior experience working with GeneralContractor Project Managers and Superintendents to achieve projectgoals and completion. Ability to foster a collaborative andpositive working relationship with all team members.
KeyResponsibilities:
Read and Interpret Plans :
Proficiently analyzearchitectural plans, specifications, and flooring layouts.
Submittals Handling:
Manage and submit project-related documentsefficiently.
Change Orders:
Draft and process change orders asneeded.
Value Engineering:
Identify cost-effective productalternatives. Collaborate with
GC Project Mangers:
Assist inproject completion and coordination.
Maintain PositiveRelationships:
Foster cooperation among team members.
ProjectOrganization:
Help organize and manage various project aspects inthe office and in the field.
Financial Projections:
Contribute tofinancial forecasting.
Budget Building:
Assist in creating projectbudgets.
Timely Product Delivery:
Ensure products arrive onschedule and within budget.
Customer Relations:
Maintain positiveinteractions with clients.
Project Documentation:
Familiarity withspecifications, submittals, and shop drawings. Coordination with
Superintendents:
Review scope, schedules, and submittals.
Mathematical Skills:
Strong proficiency.
Communication:
Excellentverbal and written skills.
Pressure Handling:
Ability to work wellunder tight deadlines.
Team Player:
Collaborate effectively withcross-functional teams.
Build Relationships:
