Construction Superintendent to oversee daily operations for one of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in either commercial or residential construction , a keen eye for detail, and excellent leadership skills. You will be responsible for managing on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise all on-site construction activities and subcontractors to ensure project is built according to plans, specifications, and codes. Coordinate scheduling of trades, deliveries, and inspections. Enforce safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe and clean job site. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and progress; provide regular updates to the Project Manager. Conduct site meetings and communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers. Maintain detailed daily reports and documentation of job site activities. Identify and resolve any potential issues or delays quickly and efficiently. Ensure quality control standards are consistently met throughout the construction process.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in construction supervision, preferably in commercial or residential projects. Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and local building codes. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. OSHA certification preferred. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
