Job Details:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Construction Superintendent to join our dynamic team. The Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, from planning to implementation. You will be responsible for managing all project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment to ensure that they are utilized effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of construction projects, including cost control, construction safety, scheduling, and site management.
Lead and manage the construction team, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
Ensure effective communication across all levels of the project, from team members to stakeholders.
Develop and implement comprehensive project work schedules, identifying the critical path and expediting the delivery of critical materials and equipment to the site.
Oversee the billing process related to Work-In-Place (WIP), including the monthly estimate of work completed, payrolls, material invoices, and subcontractor payment applications.
Manage labor relations with subcontractors and trade staff.
Implement leading-edge technologies such as Building Information Models (BIM) and Lean to benefit the project.
Ensure thorough understanding and application of the general and subcontract documents, drawings, specifications, construction means, methods, and materials.
Perform in the capacity of Stormwater Compliance Coordinator (SCC) in accordance with the Stormwater Compliance Program.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of four years’ related training and at least eight years of building construction experience required, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
A minimum of 8+ years of experience in the construction industry.
Proven experience in cost control, construction safety, scheduling, site management, team leadership, and communication.
Proven experience in construction planning and managing the billing process as it relates to Work-In-Place (WIP).
Experience in developing and implementing overall project work schedules identifying the critical path.
Experience in managing labor relations with subcontractors and trade staff.
Ability to implement leading-edge technologies such as Building Information Models (BIM) and Lean to benefit the project.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of the general and subcontract documents, drawings, specifications, construction means, methods, and materials.
Understanding of line and grade and survey methods.
Ability to perform in the capacity of Stormwater Compliance Coordinator (SCC) in accordance with the Stormwater Compliance Program.
