Job Title:

Director of Land Development We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Land Development to lead all aspects of land development for residential communities. This role is responsible for managing site due diligence, budgeting, entitlement, and development processes from land acquisition through community delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential land development, leadership experience, and the ability to manage consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all phases of land development, including planning, permitting, design, and construction. Manage development budgets, schedules, and consultant/contractor performance. Collaborate with land acquisition, construction, and sales teams to align development with business goals. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. 7+ years of progressive experience in residential land development. Proven leadership and project management skills.
