Job Description
Our client, a commercial construction company, is hiring a Director of Preconstruction in Nashville, TN. This role will oversee the full project lifecycle from concept through construction, including preconstruction planning, design coordination, and construction execution.

Key Responsibilities:
- + Lead preconstruction efforts, including bids, proposals, and budgets + Prepare and present detailed estimates and proposals + Conduct quantity take-offs, cost analyses, and conceptual budgeting + Collaborate with clients, design teams, and internal stakeholders + Identify project risks and align plans with business goals + Use construction estimating tools and adopt Lean practices to improve workflow •
Qualifications:
- + 15+ years of preconstruction experience within commercial construction + Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) + Experience in healthcare/hospital construction space + Strong knowledge of drawings, specs, estimating software, and field operations + Excellent communication and presentation skills + Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Revit, Lens, or Destiny preferred + Understanding of
MBE/WBE/SBA
requirements + Must have valid driver’s license and be able to travel as needed
