This Electrical Superintendent position is responsible for the scheduling and supervision of multiple crews across various projects and jobsites. The Superintendent will be responsible to oversee and manage all aspects of electrical installation in various commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to industry and Code required standards. This person will supervise electricians and sub-contractors involved in the electrical installation and coordinate with general contractors, project managers and will ensure the safety and quality standards are met. This position requires extensive experience in electrical installations and constructions processes, as well as experience with blueprint reading and interpretation, electrical schematics, conduit and wiring installation and thorough knowledge of workplace safety practices. Duties and Responsibilities
- Schedule and oversee multiple crews on commercial construction projects
- Manage material procurement and requisition needs
- Establish workflows and sequences to ensure projects remain on track
- Enforce safety regulations and foster a culture of workplace safety
- Instructs assigned employees in installation techniques, electrical and NEC principles, the correct operation of tools and equipment and safe work practices
- Provide input on design build projects Requirements and Qualifications
- 10+ years electrical installation experience
- Experience supervising electrical installations
- Strong leadership skills and demonstrated history of successful leadership
- Strong organization skills, attention to detail and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
