Structural Steel Construction Location:

Nashville, TN This is a full-time, onsite leadership role focused on coordinating field operations, ensuring quality control, and keeping projects on track—while serving as the key liaison between project managers, subcontractors, and clients. You’ll be out in the field 80% of the time, making decisions, managing crews, and being the expert “eyes on site” across 10-30 active projects.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Oversee and support multiple structural steel erection crews across various job sites Monitor field progress, jobsite safety, and subcontractor performance Conduct site walks, field measurements, and coordinate on-site activities Resolve jobsite conflicts and ensure adherence to plans and specs Represent the company in coordination meetings with GCs and clients Create daily logs, approve timesheets, and manage project schedules Ensure timely deliveries and proper execution of steel installation Collaborate with internal project managers and detailing teams Negotiate field-driven change orders and build strong client relationships

What We’re Looking For:

2+ years of experience in structural steel or metals construction Strong site presence with the confidence to make judgment calls in the field Proven ability to organize, lead, and motivate erection crews Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and tools like Procore or Airtable Capable of reading construction drawings and tape measures accurately Methodical, detail-oriented, and a clear communicator (especially via email) Physically able to walk job sites, climb ladders, and work outdoors Self-starter with solid note-taking and organizational skills Nice to

Have:

Background in miscellaneous metals or related steel experience Prior experience as a General Foreman or Project Engineer Familiarity with jobsite coordination across multiple projects
