Nashville, TN area Are you passionate about making a positive impact on people’s lives? The Center of Hope for Behavioral Health Inc. seeks a dedicated Live-In House Manager (HM) to join our team. An ideal candidate for a live-in HM for young adult males with mental health or addiction issues should have a minimum of one year in active recovery, demonstrating stability and personal experience. They must possess strong leadership, empathy, and excellent communication skills to support and mentor residents effectively. Position Overview The House Manager lives on-site and is responsible for overseeing the home’s day-to-day operations, supporting residents, enforcing rules, and reporting to the Housing Coordinator. This position includes free housing with all utilities paid and a $1,000/month stipend . Key Responsibilities Resident Oversight & Support Conduct daily check-ins and maintain consistent communication with all residents Uphold and enforce house rules, curfews, and sobriety policies Administer and document random drug and alcohol screenings Facilitate weekly house meetings to encourage community, progress, and structure Provide peer support and mentorship while maintaining healthy boundaries House Operations & Compliance Ensure cleanliness, order, and safety of the home at all times Report any maintenance issues or resident concerns to the housing coordinator Help with resident documentation, incident reports, and checklists Help with new resident intakes and move-out procedures Communication & Accountability Work closely with the housing coordinator to ensure smooth home operations Provide frequent updates on house dynamics, resident progress, and any concerns Maintain a positive, recovery-focused atmosphere in the home Qualifications Minimum of 1 year in active recovery (must provide documentation or references verifying recovery time) Must be a strong role model in recovery—committed, reliable, and supportive Experience in sober living, peer support, or recovery housing preferred but not required Ability to set and maintain boundaries, handle conflict, and lead by example No recent criminal convictions related to violence, theft, or arson Must be willing to undergo a background check Must be drug and alcohol free at all times during employment Benefits Free housing and utilities (private room included) $1,000/month stipend The chance to make a real difference in the lives of people in recovery Room to grow within an expanding, values-based organization
