Project Manager – Commercial Construction On-Site A well-established and employee-owned general contractor based in Middle Tennessee is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join its growing team. Known for delivering high-quality commercial and industrial projects, this firm takes pride in its people-first culture, collaborative leadership, and strong reputation across the region. What You’ll Do As a Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring commercial and industrial construction projects are delivered on time, within budget, and up to spec . You’ll manage all aspects of the build process, from pre-construction through closeout, with a strong focus on communication, efficiency, and teamwork.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost controls Draft and manage subcontracts and purchase orders Process monthly pay applications and review change orders Approve vendor and subcontractor invoices Serve as the primary liaison between clients, design teams, subcontractors, and field supervision Champion project safety, quality, and productivity from start to finish What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field Minimum 5 years of experience as a PM in commercial or industrial construction Exceptional organizational, time management, and decision-making skills Clear, confident communication and strong client relationship skills Tech-savvy and comfortable using tools like: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Procore, Vista, P6 Scheduling, Timberline Bonus if you’re someone who leads by example, motivates your team, and keeps calm under pressure.
