Responsibilities
Brasfield & Grie, a leading General Contract in the Southeast, is searching f experienced, traveling Superintendents to join our growing industrial and manufacturing team.
We are looking f candidates who have experience in industrial and/ advanced manufacturing market sects and want to wk with a driven team on large scale projects throughout the southeast.
Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
Codinate and supervise industrial and/ advanced manufacturing construction projects from start to finish.
Advocates safety as number one priity on the jobsite and enfcespliance withpany and jobsite safety plan and policies and all safety-related regulations
Partners with Estimating, Division Management and Project Management to plan, supervise, direct, and codinate management of construction projects, including direct liaison with owner, designers, and subcontracts to ensure efficient and derly perfmance of the job
Develops and implements production plans with budget goals in mind
Assists Project Manager in the preparation of project status repts
Responsible f daily repts, progress repts,pliance repts and logs
Oversees the review of plans and drawings in accdance with contract documents and the codination of shop drawings
Procures tools and materials needed f the project to ensure availability accding to the wk schedule
Determines staffing levels and timing considering building methodology as well as the availability of tools and equipment f each phase of the construction project
Recruits, hires and directs the wk of allpany onsite field personnel in accdance with HR processes and procedures
Prepares oversees submission of payroll to Payroll Department and all documentation required toply with HR and Payroll policies and procedures
Confers with supervisy personnel and employees (with appropriate assistance from HR and Legal) to resolveplaints and grievances within the wk fce
Wks with supervisy personnel and employees, engineers, architects, subcontracts, inspects, and supplier of tools and materials to improve construction methods and resolve construction issues
Ensures construction schedules are add to by determining appropriate staffing levels and material and tool procurement
Assist project management scheduling department with updating P6 schedule when necessary
Supervises and codinates subcontracts to monit theirpliance with subcontract terms
Follows and enfcespany policies and procedures
Codinates and oversees regulaty inspections

High school diploma G.
E.D. preferred; minimum of 8 years of relevant construction supervisy experience in industrial and/ advanced manufacturing construction.
Proven experience in industrial and/ advanced manufacturing construction including manufacturing, cleanrooms, dryrooms, cold stage, and/ food and beverage processing facilities.
Experience in all aspects of industrial and/ advanced manufacturing construction management.
Strong knowledge of industrial and/ advanced manufacturing construction processes, techniques, and materials.
Strong knowledge of self-perfming scopes of wk preferred (site, structural concrete and/ steel, mechanical, etc.).
Current knowledge and ability to relevant local, state, and federal rules and regulations, including OSHA
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, financial repts, and legal documents
Ability tomunicate well both verbally and in writing and to present infmation to top management, owners, subcontracts, and other outside entities
Professional attitude and appearance

Must be able to travel frequently by car and air to jobsites and prospective jobsites throughout the United States and to wk out of town f significant periods of time when the job requires onsite supervision
Must be able to traverse construction jobsites in all kinds of wk environments and weather to review wk in progress, examine quality of wk, and troubleshoot issues
Wks significant ption of day outside on construction site
Must be able to stand f long periods and wk at heights
Must be able to wk in all types of weather (including exposure to extremes of hot and cold) and in all kinds of wk environments
Able to lift/move up to 70 pounds
Able to stand; crawl; climb ladders & stairs; balance; stoop and kneel; etc (physical activities associated with construction sites)
Must be able to withstand f long periods of time noise, fumes, airbne particles, etc. associated with construction sites
