We are seeking a reliable and proactive Construction Runner to join our team. As a Construction Runner, you will play a key role in supporting our construction sites by delivering materials, tools, and equipment. Your main goal is to ensure that job sites have everything they need to keep operations running smoothly and on schedule. This position is perfect for someone who is organized, efficient, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Material Delivery:

Transport and deliver tools, materials, and equipment to construction sites.

Errands:

Run errands as needed for the construction team, including purchasing materials or picking up supplies.

Site Support:

Assist on construction sites with miscellaneous tasks when required.

Communication:

Maintain clear communication with the project manager or supervisor regarding deliveries, delays, and updates.

Inventory Control:

Keep track of materials and tools to ensure accurate delivery and pickup.

Safety Practices:

Follow all safety protocols and ensure the safe transport of materials.

Vehicle Maintenance:

Ensure company vehicles are well-maintained and report any issues immediately.

Office/Shop Maintenance:

Ensure company office and shop areas are clean organized including material stock and supplies for construction projects.

Qualifications:

Valid Driver’s License:

Must have a clean driving record and be comfortable driving a variety of vehicles, including trucks or vans.

• Applicants must be willing to submit to a criminal background check, driving record check, and a drug test.

Experience:

Previous experience in construction or delivery/logistics is preferred but not required.

Education Requirement:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry heavy materials up to 80 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Skills:

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions.

Tech-Savvy:

Familiarity with GPS and basic smartphone apps for tracking and communication.
