Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support the planning and execution of construction projects. The goal is to deliver high-quality buildings that meet client expectations—on time, within budget, and in accordance with Clark’s standards for safety, environmental stewardship, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and organize project documentation, ensuring timely processing of RFIs, submittals, and material tracking logs; provide mentorship to Project Engineers as needed. Support the Project Manager in managing the project budget and Potential Change Order (PCO) process. Collaborate on the administration of bulletins and change orders. Assist in planning and organizing the construction process with input from the Project Manager and Superintendent. Help the Superintendent prepare and update the three-week look-ahead schedule. Support the development of bid packages and the selection of subcontractors. Prepare budget breakdown spreadsheets for accounting purposes. Assist in the preparation of the buyout schedule in coordination with the Project Manager. Review subcontractor schedule of values and prepare trade contract checklists for accounting. Participate in weekly progress meetings with subcontractors and team members. Enforce Clark’s safety, environmental, and cleanliness standards on the job site. Expedite the project close-out process with minimal punch list items; contribute to the Lessons Learned discussion at project completion. Maintain regular communication with the client and foster strong, professional relationships. Assist in preparing profit projections and Work-in-Progress (WIP) reports. Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement—for both personal development and the growth of the company. Support the Project Manager in developing long-term client relationships; represent the company at industry conferences and trade shows as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred). Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively. Collaborative and professional when working with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and local authorities. Committed to delivering safe, on-time, high-quality projects that build client trust. Familiarity with tools such as ProjectSight, Phoenix, Textura, Bluebeam, and the Microsoft Office Suite or other related project management software Previous construction or project management experience preferred. Reliable transportation to and from the job site (and for on-site travel, if applicable).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for extended periods. Ability to stand and walk for long durations, including on uneven ground. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
