We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Mechanical Supervisor to lead and oversee the mechanical components of our construction projects. This role involves coordinating and managing the installation of Plumbing, HVAC, and Process Piping systems, ensuring all work is completed according to project specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes. As a key team member, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment, while actively supporting trade contractors on-site. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine construction management tasks under the direction of the Project Manager or Superintendent. Inspect mechanical work to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards; identify and facilitate necessary corrections or improvements. Coordinate regular site patrols and discipline-specific testing, keeping the Project Manager or Superintendent informed of progress, issues, and delays. Participate in and coordinate key site acceptance activities, including system handovers and commissioning, in collaboration with contractors and the owner. Review construction drawings for constructability and collaborate with design partners to proactively address potential changes, minimizing impact on construction timelines and costs. Manage site modifications and maintain accurate “as-built” markups and documentation. Assist the Project Manager in auditing completed work quantities and contractor pricing related to mechanical systems. Support the Project Manager and Superintendents in the development and resolution of punch lists for mechanical scope items. Qualifications Proven experience in construction management and supervision Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards Proficiency in construction management software Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively Supervising experience in a commercial construction environment Why Join Clark?
