About the Position The Mechanical Superintendent oversees HVAC and plumbing installation and renovation projects for commercial and institutional clients in the East Tennessee and Chattanooga regions. This position is responsible for ensuring high-quality work is completed on schedule and within scope, while also managing customer relations, communication, and profitability. Serving as both a coordinator and a client liaison, the Mechanical Superintendent plays a key role in fostering strong relationships between the company, contractors, and clients, acting as the primary point of contact in day-to-day interactions. Responsibilities Act as the day-to-day and primary company point of contact for assigned projects Schedule, coordinate, and supervise project work & deliveries to maintain schedule and profitability Ensure that daily logs and safety reports are completed and submitted Develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships Attend project meetings with proper documentation Maintain the project schedule to ensure timely completion of the project Ensure project work is in strict accordance with plans, specifications, and codes Coordinate to confirm that subcontractors are fully executing contracted scopes of work Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent At least 5 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry with proven success managing multiple active job sites and projects Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction documents, and schematics Ability to resolve conflicts and make decisions under pressure OSHA 10-Hour Certification Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in construction management At least 8 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role Knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems to oversee work and ensure correct installation and functionality Familiarity with ProCore or other related project management software OSHA 30-
