Some of the primary work responsibilities of this position are to maintain good relationships with community employers, ensure work settings are well staffed and operate appropriately to meet the needs of the work site employer. If needed, the Supervisor will work the work sites as needed. The Supervisor will also assist in the development and set up of new work sites as opportunities become available. This person will complete monthly unannounced visits at all assigned work sites, complete vehicle checks for safety, and review all pre-post trip inspections. The Supervisor will review all billing statements completed by the Supervisors and ensure that the individuals’ payroll is completed accurately and in a timely manner. The Supervisor will attend Individual Support Plan meetings as requested, will ensure that the individual’s programs are being implemented at the work site, and will review each person’s Individual Support Plan, and provide work skill training input and suggestions to the Team Leader for Outcome and Action steps. The Supervisor will attend trainings, forums, in-services, and complete assigned Relias lessons. The Supervisor will complete all necessary paperwork pertaining to the policies and procedures of Orange Grove Center, the Tennessee Department of Intellectual Disabilities, and Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities. Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Coordinator/Coordinator. This is a full-time position. The Supervisor must have reliable transportation and ongoing proof of vehicle insurance. Must have an “F Endorsement” on his/her driver’s license to transport individuals in their personal car or an Orange Grove vehicle (based on availability). High School diploma or GED required. Prior supervising experience preferred. Knowledge and experience in the field of Intellectual Disabilities is preferred. Knowledge of job requirements for maintenance/custodial, food service, light industrial, and other related work areas is a preference. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate with a diverse workforce effectively. Must be able to work with a wide array of community employers. Good overall physical health and personal stamina. Physical examination, including TB skin test or chest X-ray is required prior to employment. Must be able to lift to 50 pounds.
