Assistant Foreman Skylar Maintenance & Electric LLC 120 Lovell Rd, Knoxville, TN 37934 Overview The Assistant Supervisor plays a crucial role in supporting the Supervisor in overseeing construction projects from inception to completion. This position involves coordinating various aspects of project management, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and facilitating effective communication among team members. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction processes and be proficient in project scheduling and management software. Duties Assist the Supervisor in managing daily operations on the job site to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Coordinate project scheduling using tools such as ProCore and HeavyBid to streamline workflow and resource allocation. Collaborate with team members to maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards. Utilize Bluebeam for document management, including reviewing plans and specifications. Aid in construction estimating by providing input on material costs, labor, and timelines. Conduct inspections using tools like an ohmmeter to ensure quality control throughout the construction process. Support pipeline installation tasks while adhering to contract specifications and project requirements. Engage in effective communication with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in construction management or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with project scheduling software (ProCore, HeavyBid) is highly desirable. Knowledge of construction estimating techniques and practices. Understanding of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Proficiency in using Bluebeam for document review and collaboration. Ability to operate an ohmmeter and other relevant tools effectively. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements:
