FOR INCARCERATED AND NEWLY RELEASED WOMEN
The FOCUS Residence Manager is pivotal in supporting the successful reintegration of FOCUS students transitioning from correctional facilities. Living on-site, the Residence Manager collaborates with the Reentry Program Leadership Team to ensure students’ safety and adherence to FOCUS Ministries standards.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership & Oversight:
Provide evening program oversight and foster a positive, Christ-centered environment by exemplifying integrity, respect, and authority.
Safety & Accountability:
Ensure students return home on time and in good health. Monitor and report any suspicious activity overnight and document incidents in the Reentry Notepad. Respond to emergencies promptly and report them to the Leadership Team.
Residence Management:
Maintain the residence’residence’sss, orderliness, and compliance with FOCUS standards. Assist with home maintenance tasks as needed and oversee participants’ responsibilities.
Participant Engagement:
Conduct regular check-ins with students and communicate updates to the Leadership Team. Lead evening prayers and model spiritual, professional, and personal integrity. Dispense and organize medications on schedule and drug test participants when necessary. Take newly arrived participants grocery shopping within their first 30 days and provide rides as needed.
Administrative Duties:
Document conversations and activities in the Shared Reentry Notepad and One Step platform. Perform daily room and chore inspections and submit reports accordingly. Participate in monthly apartment inspections.
Ministry Participation:
Attend church services weekly, Reentry Program events, and key FOCUS Ministries gatherings. By supporting the holistic reintegration of these women, the Residence Manager ensures a stable and nurturing environment aligned with FOCUS MinistriesMinistries’f transformation and empowerment.
