Superintendent Position Available In Knox, Tennessee

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of multifamily construction projects in the Knoxville, TN area. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in multifamily residential construction, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise all field operations on assigned multifamily construction sites. Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel. Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, safety standards, and local building codes. Maintain project schedules and proactively address delays or issues. Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks. Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients. Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and documentation. Lead site safety meetings and enforce safety protocols. Assist in budgeting, procurement, and scheduling as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience as a superintendent in multifamily construction. Proven track record of managing ground-up and/or renovation multifamily projects. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project). OSHA 30 certification preferred. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Attributes:

Local knowledge of Knoxville and surrounding areas. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
