CONSTRUCTION COORDINATOR

An adept, organized, construction coordinator is needed that will start part time. The goal is within 90 days for this to transition into a full-time position. Building commercially is simply delivering sound, safe structures correct the first time, while building people relationships. And what we know for sure is

  • We expect you to excel in scheduling and calendar management, coordinating multiple stakeholders’ timelines seamlessly.
  • You should possess excellent communication skills for heavy interaction with government entities and other regulatory bodies.
  • Your ability to analyze and determine construction priorities will be crucial for keeping projects on track and within scope.
  • Navigating various personalities in commercial construction is essential; amazing soft skills are required to foster good working relationships.
  • You need to be comfortable managing procurement schedules, ensuring timely acquisition of necessary materials and services.
  • We require you to manage submittals efficiently, maintaining accurate records and facilitating smooth approval processes.
  • You must demonstrate proficiency in Excel, Word, and shared drives, navigating between digital platforms and the Microsoft Office suite effortlessly.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • You will conduct robust research for time-sensitive responsibilities to ensure that all pre-construction processes are accurately followed.
  • We expect you to manage procurement schedules efficiently, coordinating with various suppliers and vendors to meet project deadlines.
  • You shall learn and utilize construction software for estimating purposes, ensuring accurate cost assessments and budget management.
  • We expect you to handle managing submittals, ensuring all necessary documents are prepared, reviewed, and approved in a timely manner.
  • You will manage Outlook schedules for appointments, coordinating meetings and site visits to align with project timelines.
  • We require extensive work in Excel, Word, and shared drives to maintain organized and accessible project documentation.
  • You shall oversee subcontractor administration and management, ensuring that all parties adhere to project specifications and deadlines.
  • We expect you to provide oversight and progress reporting, maintaining daily logs through video and audio recordings as needed.
