Summary:

The Project Manager, Construction manages all aspects of one ormore large and complex construction projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Manages the full construction project lifecycle, from initialproject planning phases through completion of construction.

Collaborates with project partners and stakeholders to implement,evaluate, and report on project-based work; provides training andtechnical assistance to staff as needed to implement projectactivities and assure maximum participation in projectactivities.

  • Acts as a liaison between the executive team and project teammembers regarding changes or problems.
  • Partners with the executive team to select, negotiate with, andcoordinate the work of vendors, contractors, or sub-contractors.

Responsible for material management and delivery scheduling tasksin support of assigned projects.

  • Ensures compliance and attainment of project goals and objectivesin a timely manner developing and implementing detailed work plans.

Expresses opinions and provides critical feedback oninitiatives.

  • Analyzes and resolves complex issues, develops policies andprocedures that maximize efficiency necessary to carry outprojects.

Ensures all safeguard assets of the organization withapplication of proper internal controls as per internal andexternal regulatory requirements. Assists with monitoring operatingand capital budget related to projects. Adjusts to changing projectparameters and deadlines and incorporate direction from multiplesources.

  • Tracks project progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines,or other performance indicators and prepares and delivers reportsto management.
  • Prepares written reports, minutes, agendas, and otherproject-related correspondence for internal and externaldistribution.

Develops project related materials including oral andwritten reports. Collects, analyzes, and reports data to monitorproject outcomes; generate and present reports using standardformats and graphical summaries.

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Three (3) years working in a healthcare setting /organization.
  • Five (5) years performing or leading project-based work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication. Preferred
  • Master’s Degree
  • Project Management Institute-Construction Professional (PMI-CP)certification
