JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a seasoned and exceptional Superintendent to lead our sitework and civil projects. This is a unique opportunity for a professional who not only understands the technical demands of civil construction but who also values teamwork, integrity, and excellence. The ideal candidate will have the potential to grow into the overall Superintendent Lead position, playing a pivotal role in the future of our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all job site employees and subcontractors, ensuring workflow, quality, and timeliness in each phase of the project.
  • Oversee the organization, scheduling, safety, quality, and cost control for each project.
  • Inspire and mentor other employees, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants with expert leadership.
  • Set project objectives, policies, procedures, and standards according to company policy and contract specifications.
  • Maintain a Drug-Free Workplace as per the Workers Compensation Reform Act of 1996.
  • Ensure accurate and timely weekly reporting of employee timesheets.
  • Provide guidance in hiring, training, and developing crew members, creating a supportive and positive environment.
  • Represent our company with professionalism in project and strategy meetings.
  • Deliver timely updates to Senior Leadership on project status.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, both on the job site and within the community.
  • Create detailed reports on project progress, costs, and scheduling.
  • Participate in regular management meetings to discuss project updates, company performance, and goals.
  • Adhere to all safety, quality, and security standards while on-site.
What We’re Looking For:
    Experience:

    A minimum of 8 years in Sitework Construction.

      Travel:

      Flexibility in working hours and location, as travel is required in the middle TN area

        Technical Skills:

        Advanced use of construction software, including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, Bluebeam, HCSS HeavyJob, and Procore is highly valued.
