Crane Operator Broward Barge Oakland Park, FL 33334 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating crane to lift, move, and position heavy materials on construction sites and other locations. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely. Duties Operate cranes to lift, move, and position loads in accordance with project specifications for barge. Conduct pre-operational checks on cranes and associated equipment to ensure safety and functionality. Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate lifting operations. Maintain clear communication with ground personnel. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations at all times. Perform routine maintenance on cranes and report any mechanical issues promptly. Assist in the loading and unloading of materials from trucks. Lots of opportunity for advancement and making commissions possible . Requirements Proven experience operating cranes in construction or similar environments. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. Must possess a valid driving license is required. Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks associated with crane operation.
