• Job Description:

• We are currently seeking skilled Ship Crane Operators for our Stevedoring and/or Cargo Handling operations. The purpose of this position is to accurately and safely discharge and/or offload vessels in port in the most efficient ways possible. We uphold the highest safety standards and seek to employ like-minded operators.

Scheduling:

+ Operators can expect shift work type scheduling including nights and weekends as needed. +

Compensation and Benefits:

Responsibilities + Safely operate Ship to Shore Cranes + Safe and knowledgeable operation of equipment + Inspection of equipment for defect or damage before and after operation + Assist with cleaning and maintaining equipment to safety standards + Discharge Vessels promptly + Attentive to operations and surroundings + Follow scheduling and production goals set by management + Work as a team to meet, achieve, and exceed goals when possible Qualifications + 6 months minimum experience with Ship Crane Operation or similar. + Must possess valid relevant crane training certification if you do not have work experience. This includes Gantry Crane, GL/GLE, or K4 Crane Training. + Understanding and knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and equipment used for Crane Operation. + Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively in English + Ability to obtain a TWIC card (for more information visit the TSA website on TWIC requirements) + Valid US driver’s license

• + As a port employer our team is subject to working in all weather conditions including extreme heat and harsh winters. We work in all weather conditions. + All employees must pass a background check, drug screening, and pre-employment physical and be able to obtain a valid TWIC card within a specified period of hire.
