Job Description
Experienced Crane Operator Iconic Crane & Rigging 1817 7th St, Macon, GA 31206 As a Crane Operator at Iconic, you will be responsible for operating various cranes to lift, move, and position heavy loads safely and efficiently on job sites. Your expertise in crane operations and commitment to safety will be vital in ensuring the smooth execution of projects. You will work closely with riggers, foremen, and other team members to coordinate lifting operations and maintain a safe work environment.
Responsibilities:
Operate cranes and lifting equipment proficiently in accordance with all safety regulations and company policies. Inspect equipment before each use to ensure safety and compliance. Collaborate with riggers and signal persons to coordinate lifting operations. Maintain accurate records of crane operations and daily inspections. Ensure loads are lifted and properly secured before moving. Communicate effectively with team members to report any issues or changes in operation. Participate in safety meetings and contribute to a culture of safety on-site. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on cranes as needed. Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards at all times. Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Required Certifications:
Valid Crane Operator certification (e.g., NCCCO or equivalent), Class A CDL, and DOT Medical Card. Minimum of 2 years of experience operating cranes in construction or rigging environments. Strong understanding of crane operations, safety protocols, and load chart management. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Physically fit with the ability to handle heavy loads safely.
