Job Description

Visit our website at for more about us. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Directional Driller/Locator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Physically build, install, and maintain underground natural gas pipelines while adhering to industry standards and regulations. Operate and maintain various equipment and tools required for excavation, installation, and repair work. Operate Directional Drill and or Locator. Operate mini ex as necessary. Spot utility lines with hand excavation tools. Repair landscape environments as required after completing a job. Drive trucks and trailers to transport materials, equipment, and machinery to and from job sites. Conduct inspections and perform routine maintenance on assigned equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety. Perform fusion of plastic pipes, ensuring secure and reliable connections. Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth workflow and project completion. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Physical labor and carrying weight upwards of 100 lbs. will be required to complete tasks. Keep trucks, equipment, and tools clean and in good working condition.

Requirements:
  • Live in the area and/or be able to get yourself to and from work daily
  • Be willing to train in our online, Operator Qualification (OQ) Program to meet federal regulations to provide underground utilities
  • Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in drilling and or locating. If you have less experience or just a general interest, you can still apply.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments
  • Relevant certifications and licenses are a plus
  • There are times when we have to work Saturdays and overtime.
  • Be in good physical condition to complete work tasks.
  • Pass a drug test and a background check
  • Make a commitment to be at work every day, be dependable, and reliable
  • Must be Authorized to work in the United States.
