Local Construction Contractor has an immediate opening for an experienced Horizontal Drill Operator with a CDL A for installing utility poles for street lights, underground utilities, etc Pay based on experience from $20.00/hr to $25.00/hr…Monday through Friday 7am to 5 pm Qualifications and Requirements A Valid CDL A Driver’s License is required Maintain DOT medical card and pass background check and drug screen 3 to 5 RECENT years experience as a Drill Operator in a construction field Skill in completing multiple tasks, identifying problems and finding solutions Knowledgeable regarding One Call and excavation rules, processes, and procedures Experience with operating a directional boring machine and other equipment such as backhoe, mini-excavator, vacuum excavator, cable plow, trencher is required Cable blowing, installation, splicing experience is a plus Knowledge of State and Federal Safety Regulations Ability to work outside year-round.
