This position is for a Driller’s Helper. Drilling is done by using both inside and outside drill rigs, depending on job site conditions. We drill the shafts for the hydraulic elevator jacks.
Please note that any skills listed for this job in the below Skills and Tools areas are what you will eventually learn. This is an entry level position and does not require that you have the skills to start with, but have the ability to learn them as you go.
Days/Hrs will vary.
Travel a must. Stays out of town, 3-8 consecutive nights is the norm.
Employer is willing to train.
The ability to weld, use a cutting torch, some construction experience, and operation of drilling equipment is a plus.
A Florida CDL Class A license is preferred… A valid Florida driver’s license is required. Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects 75-100 lbs.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Needs to be able to work independently with minimal supervision, and be a quick learner.
Must have transportation to shop/office.
Transportation to job sites will be provided.
Hourly rate starts at $16.00, but may be higher, depending on experience.
Min. 18 yrs of age required due to hours of work.
Prefer applicant to be 21 yrs or older due to requirement of CDL to drive trucks out of state , but will consider younger if motivated to work.
We have a strict

policy, with random testing required for all.

A copy of driver license and social security card will be required prior to hiring.
