Founded in 1982, we are based in Clearwater, FL. We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Lead Driller to join our team. Most jobs are local and in the Tampa Bay Region.
Job Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain geotechnical drilling rigs for soil sampling. Perform Standard Penetration Test Borings, Soil Test Borings, and collect geotechnical samples per project specifications. Ensure safe and efficient operation of drilling equipment in various site conditions. Collaborate with geotechnical engineers and field crews to meet project objectives. Conduct routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues. Maintain accurate drilling logs and project documentation.
Qualifications:
Experience as a geotechnical driller or similar role. Proficiency in operating drilling rigs and related equipment. Knowledge of geotechnical sampling and testing methods. Valid driver’s license. Strong commitment to workplace safety. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
