With operations expanding throughout Texas, we are seeking skilled and motivated HDD Drill Operators experienced with Vermeer 20×22 or 23×30 rigs to join our field team.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Vermeer 20×22 or 23×30 directional drilling machines in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. Read and interpret job prints, locate utilities, and understand bore profiles. Perform bore planning, setup, and execution with minimal supervision. Ensure jobsite safety and compliance with local and federal regulations. Coordinate with locator, crew members, and project supervisors to meet job deadlines. Conduct basic equipment maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues as needed. Maintain accurate documentation of bores, footage, and production.
Qualifications:
3+ years of hands-on experience operating Vermeer 20×22 or 23×30 HDD rigs. Strong knowledge of underground utility construction, including fiber or conduit installation. Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions and terrain. Valid CDL (Class A preferred) is a plus. Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and a team player.
