Full Job Description Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and certified Well Driller with Class A (Water Well) certification, along with a valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating drilling rigs and associated equipment for the installation, maintenance, and decommissioning of water supply and environmental monitoring wells. The position requires knowledge of state regulations, safe drilling practices, and the ability to work in various environmental and geologic conditions. ________________________________________

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain drilling rigs and associated heavy equipment in compliance with safety and environmental standards. Drill, install, develop, and test water wells (Class A) in accordance with state and local regulations. Perform well rehabilitation and abandonment as needed. Transport drilling equipment and materials to job sites using CDL-A licensed vehicles. Interpret drilling logs, soil samples, and formation data. Complete accurate and timely documentation including drilling logs, daily reports, and well completion reports. Ensure job sites are clean, safe, and restored to their original condition upon project completion. Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and clients. Follow OSHA and company safety policies and procedures. ________________________________________

Requirements:

Valid Well Driller Certification – Class A (must meet NC licensing requirements). Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) with a clean driving record. Minimum of 2 years of well drilling experience, preferably with both water and environmental wells. Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and drilling logs. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting. Willingness to travel to various job sites and work in variable weather and terrain conditions. Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in physically demanding conditions. ________________________________________

Preferred Qualifications:

HAZWOPER 40

certification. Knowledge of geotechnical drilling practices. CPR/First Aid certified. Licenses in Virginia and/or South Carolina
