Position Summary:
Rhino Restoration is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Reconstruction Contractor to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for a wide range of reconstruction tasks, ensuring damaged properties are returned to their pre-loss condition or better. The ideal candidate is proficient in multiple trades, including painting, drywall repair and installation, baseboard and flooring installation, as well as cabinet and vanity installation.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform reconstruction work following water, fire, or mold damage restoration projects. Install, repair, and finish drywall, including taping, sanding, and texturing. Paint interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Install flooring (laminate, hardwood, vinyl, tile) and baseboards with attention to detail. Assemble and install cabinetry and vanities according to design specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times. Communicate effectively with project managers, customers, and team members. Ensure all work complies with building codes and company quality standards. Accurately document job progress, materials used, and time spent on tasks.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in residential or commercial reconstruction or general contracting. Proficiency in drywall, painting, flooring, and finish carpentry. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Must be able to pass a background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
IICRC certification(s) or restoration industry experience is a plus. Familiarity with reconstruction following property damage restoration is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks. Comfortable working in a variety of environments, including confined spaces and elevated surfaces.
