Stainer Runion Enterprises INC Tampa, FL 33615 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Stainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of construction and renovation, with a particular focus on staining and finishing surfaces. This role requires attention to detail, an understanding of color theory, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The Stainer will be responsible for enhancing the aesthetic appeal of various materials while ensuring high-quality workmanship. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for staining by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed. Apply stains and finishes to wood, drywall, concrete, and other materials using brushes, rollers, or sprayers. Mix stains and finishes according to specifications while considering color theory for desired outcomes. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure seamless integration of stained elements into overall projects. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and ensure compliance with safety standards on the job site. Assist in remodeling projects by staining cabinetry, trim work, and other fixtures as required. Keep work areas clean and organized to promote efficiency and safety. Requirements Proven experience in staining, painting, or related fields such as commercial painting or concrete finishing. Familiarity with drywall installation techniques is a plus. Understanding of color theory and its application in staining processes. Basic maintenance person skills with experience in frame carpentry or general construction practices preferred. Ability to work effectively on construction sites, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
