Trades Worker Position Available In Hillsborough, Florida

Compensation Range:

$17.51 – $26.69

Position Summary:

Hiring Salary Range:

$17.51 to $19.26 hourly depending on qualifications. The position maintains and repairs all College facilities to include one or more of the following trade activities: plumbing, painting, carpentry, general maintenance, new construction, and/or lock and key work.

Job Duties:

• Minor indoor and outdoor painting.
• Repair plumbing and replace plumbing fixtures.
• Hang interior and exterior doors and door frames.
• Replace ceiling tiles.
• Patch and hang drywall.
• Order and replace broken and missing ceramic tile.
• Repair holes in existing walls.
• Replace baseboards.
• Performs other similar and related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

The position requires at least vocational or other technical school, certification, training or apprenticeship beyond High School or GED and at least two years of prior-related work experience. Substitution of at least one additional year of prior-related work experience is permitted for the vocational or other technical school, certification, training or apprenticeship.
