Drywall Finisher Miami Sprinter vans Miami, FL 33155 Overview We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finishing drywall installations, ensuring a smooth and professional appearance. This role requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of construction processes. The Drywall Finisher will work closely with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and to high standards. Responsibilities Prepare drywall surfaces for finishing by sanding, taping, and applying joint compound. Ensure all drywall is plumb and aligned correctly before finishing. Apply texture or paint as required after finishing drywall. Collaborate with carpenters and other trades to ensure seamless integration of work. Read and interpret schematics and project plans to execute tasks accurately. Perform repairs on existing drywall as needed, including caulking and patching. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Experience Proven experience in drywall finishing or related construction fields. Familiarity with carpentry, fixture installation, flooring installation, masonry, tile laying, and construction estimating is preferred. Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. Strong knowledge of tools and materials used in drywall installation and finishing. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
