Handy Person Needed TODAY or
TOMORROW
(Englewood) ‹ image 1 of 11 › compensation: $16 hour to start Looking for someone experienced and reliable to tackle a full list of “Honey-Do” tasks around my property. Ideally available today (or tomorrow at the latest). Please only apply if you are confident you can handle the majority of the list below, have your own tools and transport, and are serious about showing up and getting the job done. If you’re more than 30 minutes late without a heads-up, I’ll move on to the next person — no hard feelings, just need reliability as my time is valuable as well as yours and it gets really, really old waiting on folks who show up hours later than promised. ????
TASK LIST
Tighten wobbly kitchen faucet (new install, possibly missing a rubber washer) Hang mirror on bathroom door Secure dishwasher Patch holes where items were removed Hang various signs (indoor and outdoor) Fill and paint trim holes Patch small drywall section under bathroom shelf Secure birdhouse to metal pole and install Paint touch-ups in kitchen Spray/remove small wasps’ nest Clean slow-draining bathroom sink Clean gutters Secure loose cabinet knob Tidy/organize garage Grout small piece of tile Hang cabinet in garage Secure Ring camera Install shelves inside kitchen cabinets Hang ceiling fan Hang framed picture Assemble and install under-sink cleaner holder Build shelves in closet Microwave not working after new control board was installed
- needs checking Dishwasher plug (under the sink) doesn’t appear to be functioning properly
- needs inspecting
- I had a new kitchen put in which has been an ongoing nightmare If there are any tasks you cannot do, that’s okay — just be upfront.
Most of it is basic handywork, and I have photos for reference if needed. ????
PAY:
Starting at $16/hour for the first day. If you prove to be skilled and dependable, I’m happy to pay more after that I’ve just wasted a lot of money on people who cannot do the job or do it at the speed of a tortoise ???? Located in Englewood, FL. I always have work and can keep the right person busy on an ongoing basis — so if you’re dependable and skilled, this could be a great ongoing gig as I would love to have an ongoing handyman to call as things come up and have neighbours that need things too.
