The ideal candidate will have experience in finishing drywall and a strong understanding of various construction techniques. This role involves preparing and finishing drywall surfaces to ensure a smooth and professional appearance. The Drywall Finisher will work closely with other construction professionals to complete projects on time and to specifications. Duties Apply tape, mud, and finish coats to drywall seams and joints. Smooth out imperfections in drywall surfaces using sandpaper or other tools. Inspect finished surfaces for quality and make necessary adjustments. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including those involved in construction painting, remodeling, and trim carpentry. Perform additional tasks such as caulking and stucco application as needed. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Experience Proven experience as a Drywall Finisher or in a similar role within the construction industry. Familiarity with various techniques related to drywall finishing, plastering, and stucco application. Skills in additional areas such as construction painting, remodeling, caulking, trim carpentry, plumb work, and flooring installation are highly desirable. Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
