The ideal candidate will have experience in finishing drywall, ensuring smooth surfaces, and preparing them for painting or other finishes. This role requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of various finishing techniques. The Drywall Finisher will work closely with other construction professionals to deliver high-quality results on residential and commercial projects. Duties Apply tape, mud, and other finishing materials to drywall surfaces to achieve a smooth finish. Inspect and repair any imperfections in drywall installations. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements. Utilize tools and equipment safely, including trowels, sanders, and sprayers. Perform metal stud framing as needed for various projects. Assist with mold remediation and restoration tasks when required. Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the project duration. Requirements Proven experience as a Drywall Finisher or in a similar role within the construction industry. Knowledge of plastering techniques and construction painting is preferred. Familiarity with frame carpentry and metal stud framing is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Experience in the restoration industry, including mold remediation, is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
