Responsibilities Prepare drywall surfaces by sanding, taping, and applying joint compound to achieve a smooth finish. Restore damaged drywall sections and perform necessary repairs to ensure seamless integration with existing structures. Install fixtures such as shelves, cabinets, and trim carpentry elements as needed. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. Conduct residential painting tasks as required to enhance the overall appearance of finished drywall. Utilize tools and equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols on the job site. Participate in construction estimating processes by providing input on materials and labor requirements for projects. Qualifications Proven experience as a Drywall Finisher or similar role in the construction industry. Strong skills in fixture installation, trim carpentry, and maintenance person tasks. Knowledge of residential painting methods and materials is desirable. Ability to read blueprints and understand construction plans effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
