The ideal candidate will have experience in the restoration industry and possess a strong understanding of drywall installation techniques. This role involves working on various construction sites, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. The Drywall Hanger will collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and plumbers, to deliver exceptional results on every project. Responsibilities Install drywall sheets on walls and ceilings according to specifications and project plans. Measure and cut drywall to fit designated areas, ensuring precise alignment and minimal waste. Apply caulking and stucco as needed for finishing touches. Perform metal stud framing as part of the drywall installation process. Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and plumbers, to ensure seamless integration of work. Conduct repairs on existing drywall, including water damage restoration tasks when necessary. Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites. Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team. Requirements Proven experience in the restoration industry or related field is preferred. Proficiency in caulking, stucco application, and drywall installation techniques. Familiarity with flooring installation and frame carpentry is a plus. Knowledge of construction plumbing practices is beneficial. Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Valid driver’s license may be required for travel between job sites.
