Job Description We are looking for dependable, experienced drywall mechanics tohandle installation, finishing, patchwork, and repair of drywallsystems in commercial and residential settings. Candidates must beproficient in reading blueprints, measuring and cutting drywall,and properly installing panels using screws, adhesives, and tape.
The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, a great workethic, and a commitment to safety and quality. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets for installation on walls andceilings Install drywall panels using screws, nails, or adhesive Tape and mud joints, corners, and seams Sand surfaces for a smooth finish Repair or patch damaged drywall Read and interpret blueprints and job layouts Maintain a clean and organized job site Follow safety regulations and company policies Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience as a drywall mechanic Strong knowledge of drywall materials, tools, and installationtechniques Ability to lift and carry heavy sheets of drywall Must have reliable transportation and own basic tools Must be able to pass a background check and/or drug test (ifrequired)
