Electrical Journeyman Pinnacle Electric of Arkansas Cave Springs, AR 72718 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical work, including both high and low voltage systems. As a Journeyperson, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks on construction sites, ensuring that all electrical installations and renovations are completed to the highest standards of safety and quality. You will work closely with other tradespeople and project managers to deliver projects on time and within specifications. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial settings. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various tasks. Must have own tools Commercial and Residential Conduct renovations involving electrical systems, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). Perform testing and troubleshooting using voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure system functionality. Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols. Work with both high voltage and low voltage systems as required by project specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety guidelines to prevent accidents. Skills Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools related to electrical work. Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and standards for electrical installations. Experience in commercial electrical work, including renovations and new installations. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings related to electrical systems. Familiarity with testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters for diagnosing issues. Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on safety and efficiency on construction sites. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and project managers.
