Panama City Borusan Berg Pipe is one of the leading manufacturers of large-diameter steel line pipe in North America. We are a mid-sized manufacturer with three U.S. locations specializing in pipe production for the oil and gas sector. We are seeking full-time 

INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIANS

 for our Panama City, Florida location.

Primary Duties Include:

Performs all onsite work in a safe manner adhering to all Berg pipe safety guidelines for PPE, lock out tag out, fall protection and confined space entry. Identifies and rectifies unsafe conditions for themselves and others.
Receives instructions, hydraulic diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and software necessary to perform scheduled, emergency, or routine repairs, calibrations, and preventive maintenance.
Interprets drawings, sketches, software, plans and determines best work procedures, tools, equipment needed to troubleshoot and repair problems.
Uses AB and Siemens PLC software to troubleshoot and repair down equipment in a timely manner.
Knowledgeable in the install and troubleshooting of all types and sizes of AC and DC motors, generators, transformers, circuit breakers, rectifiers, electronic controls, control panels, starters, switches, lighting equipment, electronic scales, power distribution, communication systems, inverters and motor drives, conduit and fittings, soldering and replacing parts.
Safely operates common industrial electrician equipment including but not limited to conduit bender, drill press, hydraulic press, bench grinder, pipe threading machine, man lift, forklift, overhead crane, etc.
Operates electronic and electrical test equipment. (Megohmmeter, voltmeter, ohmmeter, amp meter, laptop, etc.)
Using Maximo software, logs all job tasks, work assignments, and corrective actions daily.
Performs other miscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned.

Requirements & Preferred Education and Work Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
Passing score of 65% or higher on electrical knowledge written assessment (Required)
Successful completion of a practical skills assessment (Required)
Post-secondary education (Preferred)
Experience in heavy, industrial manufacturing (Preferred) Compensation & Benefits Entry rate: $34.35 per hour
Anniversary % rate increases at 1 year up to 8 years Shift differential % for evening shifts
Weekly incentive % bonuses for meeting production and quality targets
