Full Job Description We are a reputable & growing company looking for great people. If you are someone with, 4+ years electrical experience, we invite you to apply for this opportunity to join Monroy Electric. 4+ years high-voltage electrical experience preferred. Experienced Technician.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE EXPERIENCED TECHNICIAN

Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them.

Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc.

Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged unitsExecute plans of electrical wiring for well functioning lighting, intercom and other electrical systems.

Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.)Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components

Residential Setting Description:

Single and multi-family homes.

Apartments and condominiums.

Hotels, motels, and vacation residences.

Other types of residences located within the confines of a residential area as defined by the state.

JOB EXPECTATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Valid Driver’s LicenseClean criminal background check & able to pass a drug test.

Neat and professional appearance.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Fluent English is a plus, Basic English required (Hablamos español)Proven experience as an electricianMaintenance and troubleshooting of existing systemsKnowledge in low voltage and high voltage installations.

Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprintsNational Electric Code knowledgeThorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelinesExcellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilityExcellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shiftsCompany DescriptionVacation days after 1 Year of service
