Electrical apprentice ChrisBroo LLC Lake City, FL Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a rewarding career in the electrical trade. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the supervision of experienced electricians, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of electrical installation and maintenance. You will be involved in both residential and commercial projects, learning essential skills and techniques necessary for success in the field. Duties Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to understand project requirements. Work with low voltage systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete tasks. Conduct tests using voltmeters and other diagnostic tools to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems. Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. Follow all safety protocols and adhere to the National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components is a plus. Familiarity with construction site practices and safety measures. Ability to read blueprints and technical documents. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to electrical work. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn. Must be able to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently when required. A valid driver’s license may be required for travel between job sites.
